When to replace your headlight lens.

If the lens is physically damaged—cracked, chipped, warped, or deeply oxidised—restoration won’t bring back full function or clarity.

Restoration is ideal for minor to moderate yellowing and surface dullness. If you think, restoration would be better solution you can click here.

Replacement is necessary when:

  • Vehicle failed MOT

  • The lens is broken or deeply scratched

  • Moisture problems continue despite resealing

  • The lens affects light output or beam pattern even after restoration

  • UV damage has penetrated below the surface

Lens Replacement Process

We follow a meticulous, safe process to ensure a seamless and long-lasting result:

1. Inspection & Assessment
We begin with a thorough inspection of your headlight to determine whether lens replacement is necessary. If you're unsure which service you need, you can send us clear photos of the headlight for assessment.

2. Headlight Removal
You can bring a previously removed headlight to us, post it, or bring your vehicle in so we can remove it for you. Please note: depending on the vehicle, headlight removal may incur an additional charge.

3. Disassembly of the Headlight
The headlight housing is carefully opened, ensuring that internal components and seals are preserved during the process.

4. Damaged Lens Removal
The worn or broken lens is safely removed without damaging the inner reflector, projector, or electronic components.

5. New Lens Installation
New lens is fitted with precision to ensure proper alignment and fitment.

6. Resealing
We reseal the headlight using professional-grade adhesive to ensure it remains watertight and resistant to condensation.

7. Curing and Return to Customer
Once the process is complete, we’ll notify you that your headlight is ready for collection or dispatch.
